At VoxPop, we believe the future of film shouldn’t be decided by a spreadsheet, an algorithm, or some guy named Steve who wears ties to work. It should be decided by you—the people who give a damn about telling great stories on film.

Whether you’re a filmmaker who’s tired of chasing industry favors or a movie lover who’s sick of the status quo, we’re here to burn the old system down (metaphorically, of course).

Movie lovers

Step 1
Fund Your Favorite Trailers

Viewers Fund their favorite trailers. Their will be only 5 trailers available to be voted on

Cost: 1 Vote = $1 (wallets Prefunded with a dollar)

Voting for a trailer of any creative gives the user access to their library of content available on the “Enjoy” Page

Step 2
Buy My Ticket

Viewers can vote as many times as they like for an individual trailer. Once a user has voted 5 times for a particular trailer they have a free ticket to see the film once created.

Users will have the “Buy my ticket option” this will cost 5 votes all at once”

Step 3
Unlock Rewards

Once a user has voted more than 5 times for an individual project, they gain access to exclusive events and merchandise.

The rewards will be tiered based on the amount of votes placed.

Step 4
Vote Goal

Each trailer will have a vote goal associated and displayed for the users to view. Once a trailer reaches their vote goal, the project goes into production.

Each project will be given 90 days to reach their goal amount.

If the project reaches their goal amount, it will move to the “exclusive content” page.

There will be a tracker associated with the project to give users periodic updates on the progress of the project.

Step 5
The Film is Released

The completed film is released for streaming and purchase on the exclusive content page.

Users that voted towards the film will be able to purchase it at a reduced amount based on how much more they need to reach the 5 votes threshold for the film.

Check out sizzle reels from filmmakers with all the talent and zero industry bigwigs in their back pocket.

Every trailer is a movie ready to escape development purgatory. It just needs your vote.

Step 2
Vote with your wallet

We’ve kept this part easy: $1 = 1 vote.

Load up your voxpop wallet, or snag a ticket that earns you votes and sneak peeks.

No need to raid your 401k—this isn’t crypto, just cinema.

Step 3
Watch What You Helped Create

One film from each genre-based lineup gets the greenlight.

When it’s ready, you stream it here.

Your name may not be on the director’s chair, but yeah— you helped make that.

Earn perks and bragging rights

Early voters get first-look access, behind-the-scenes footage, and the undeniable right to brag forever.

“I liked this before it was cool” can be your whole personality now. We won’t judge.

but be prepared to send the following when we ask for it:

  • Your one-pager

  • Signed NDA (to protect you, duh!)

  • Full script in PDF — formatted correctly, please (no MS Word)

  • A 2-minute or less trailer

Build your audience

If your project is accepted, we’ll help you hype it in a genre-based lineup. 

 

On-platform. On socials. In inboxes.

 

At indie movie parties. You focus on the story—we’ll help you build the following.

Get Funded

Each genre-based lineup has one winner per round. Most votes = greenlight.

We’ll match you with a professional production team (not your roommate’s cousin’s friends) to finalize the budget, keep things tight, and make sure the money goes where it should.

Step 4
Stream, baby stream
Your film premieres right here on VoxPop, where people watch it.
And cheer.
And probably cry.
